dc.description | The artwork was done with a combination of different materials, carved out of what is called Found metal objects. These have been turned into useful materials carved out through recycling. The art piece shows the importance of using found objects as a means of recreating meaning. Each of the materials had an original purpose, but has been reconstructed into a new aesthetic meaning and a new piece. The sculpture shows the beauty of a female body. Traditionally, the female body has been seen as weak form to be appreciated, however, behind this soft, beautiful form, a woman is characterized by a very strong spirit that is ready to tackle every problem in life. | en_US |
