The potential for application of informatics in the health care sector and related health disciplines in Uganda has expanded rapidly in recent years. Health Informatics (eHealth) uptake at National and District-level already started in Uganda, however it is yet to make its way into most of the health centres (I-IV) levels and communities across the country. The Ministry of Health (MoH) Uganda and associated health care sector institutions at district level have so far gone a modest way towards taking full advantage of ehealth and other related informatics solutions to improve the effectiveness of delivering health care to society; nonetheless have demonstrated strong interest in going down this path.en_US
