dc.description | The artist was trying to visualize the context in which education takes place in the household. In the piece, the cow on top right corner represents financial stability, especially among cattle keeping communities, including the artist’ background, while the lady on the right and the man in the middle touching his head, represent the family matriarch and patriarch respectively. The artist perceives that for education of children (in the top left corner) to take shape in the family, there ought to be financial resources represented by the cow and family support, stability and warmth represented by the beige colors. | en_US |
