This study sought to establish the relationship between rewards and job satisfaction among employees at Monitor Publications Limited. It was guided by the following objectives; 1. To investigate whether there is a relationship between pay and employee job satisfaction. 2. To establish whether there is a relationship between benefits and employee job satisfaction. 3. To determine whether there is a relationship between recognition and job satisfaction. The research methodology followed a descriptive research design using both quantitative and qualitative methods o data collection using a structured questionnaire to collect data. The questionnaire was administered only to those individuals who had ‘O’ level education and above. The study established that there was a relationship between pay and job satisfaction significant at 0.005. The relationship between benefits and job satisfaction and the relationship between recognition and job satisfaction were also established, significant at 0.002 and 0.001 respectively. The study concluded that employees view pay, benefits and recognition as playing a very significant role in the level of job satisfaction, although their provision still needed to be improved. It was thus recommended that if organizations are to attract, retain and have a well motivated workforce, then they should reward their employees with pay and benefits that they view as being fair according to their individual preferences. As for recognition, managers should embrace recognition as a reward policy, because it has been established to be greatly valued by employees as far as job satisfaction is concerned.en_US
