dc.description.abstract As a result of economic stagnation arising out of many years of insurgency in Northern Ugaada, the Government of Uganda instituted a number of development interventions, in which project for Restoration of Livelihood in Northern Region (PRELNOR) is one of them. The Government of Uganda has signed a loan agreement with International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and has received a grant from Adaptation for small holders Agriculture Programme (ASAP) towards the cost of the project of Restoration of Livelihood in Northern Region(PRELNOR).The project is being financed by the Government of Uganda, FAD, ASAP grants and beneficiaries contributions. This project report however, only entails the Construction Methodology used and aspects of Construction Project Management practices exercised by the author in the supervision of construction of Limur Bridge, (12m Span) on River Limur on Ladita-Bwot atum Road under PRELNOR project in Lamwo District. It details Contract Administration during execution stage and the application of project management knowledge areas during project implementation. The knowledge areas discussed at length include cost, quality, and time and communication management. The construction Methodology adopted by the contractor at every stage of the works has also been discussed at length in this report. The project was a construction of 12m span Limur Bridge on River Limur on Ladita-Bwot atum community Access Road (28.3km) under Batch A PRELNOR project in Lukung Sub-CountyLamwo District. Construction projects involve a diversity of skills that come from the diversity of professions, specialists and suppliers that are involved in the process from inception to end. Successful implementation of a project can only be achieved with good project management practices in place. Failure to have proper project management monitoring and control systems can easily result in poor relationships, disputes and cost overruns on a project en_US
