    Abstract
Usually, the concept of and worry about vulnerability in research is treated almost exclusively as applicable to research participants, and very little consideration, if any, is given to researchers. This bias is even reflected in national and international research ethics guidelines. To address this gap, the aim of this study was to identify the nature of vulnerability among researchers and how it could be managed.
